The Herreshoff Marine Museum is the cradle of Rhode Island’s Marine Technology Industry and through its world-class collection of original Herreshoff Manufacturing Company boats, the museum illustrates stories about disruptive innovation and world-class manufacturing in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

East Passage Boatwrights- 257 Franklin Street featuring the work of Nate Feder and Maddy Bragar
Nate Feder will be graduating from boat building and restoration program at IYRS in June 2017. He currently lives in Newport. He has spent the last six months documenting his sailing experiences in the East Passage of Naragansett Bay, where he works as a deckhand on the Schooner Aquidneck.

The Byfield & Reynolds Buildings- 220 & 235 High Street
Will feature a student exhibition of the Roger Williams University Visual Art Majors as well as host an open house of the senior students studio in Byfield (​see picture).  VARTS at RWU is a multi-disciplinary program with students working in a broad and diverse range of media from painting, drawing and print to video and digital media.  New this semester, Roger Williams University has created a space for ceramics in the ground floor of the Reynolds school and is offering classes in ceramics for the first time.  The clay studio will be open and will feature new work and work in progress by RWU ceramics students.
