250th Anniversary Concert Event at The Baptist Church in Warren on Mother’s Day

This event is free and open to the public.
Dawn, a native of Taiwan, graduated from Berklee College of Music and has received her MD in Music Performance from the University of Rhode Island. She is a faculty member at The RI Philharmonic Orchestra and Music School and the music director at the First Baptist Church of North Kingston, RI. She has worked at the Boston Conservatory and Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theatre of Boston. She currently works as a free-lance pianist and performs at Chopin
 Club, Henschel Club, and English Country Dance, as well as weddings and private functions.  Fred is delighted to be making music for you with Dawn. Fred has been working as a singer in Rhode Island for over twenty-five years. A familiar face to area audiences, he has appeared with many local musical organizations, as well as touring the country appearing as Ubalo Piangi in Sir Andrew LLoyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from RIC and a Masters and Doctorate in Vocal Performance from the University of Kansas. Dr. Scheff is an adjunct Faculty member at RIC.
