Warren
Ellen Ferrin’s current paintings are an exploration of the captivating movement and beauty of water. They reflect her fascination with the fleeting patterns and color of its surface and the air above it, during the sometimes quiet, sometimes fierce moments between tides.
Community String Project Chamber Ensemble to perform repertoire selections from their current season and celebrated favorites: Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Mozart, and others.
Ceramics sculptor, Ellen Blomgren has led in many public installations at community programs around the state of RI as a roster artist for the RI State Council on the Arts. Turning hobby to career, Ellen opened Mudstone Studios in order to share her expertise and excitement about the ceramics medium.

As a residential architect, Katie’s photography focuses on the places we call home: the houses, land, sea, boats, gardens, and tabletop ephemera that populate it. Katie has an eye for light and shadow cast on colorful everyday moments and details in New England’s natural and built environment.

Exploring the theme of “Biomimicry.” Rossi works with oil, encaustic, ink and charcoal as she uses nature to inform and inspire her work. She includes the microscopic world of single-celled organisms, connective tissue, the body and elements of landscape in nature, exposing layers of complexity and connectivity with translucency. John “Tash” Tashjian 1966-2009 “Tash” was a gifted artist who worked in many medias; sculpture, painting, collage, jewelry and metal. His passion was clear as he instructed and encouraged his students. John’s pride in his Armenian heritage influenced much of his work. Join us for a retrospective of his life’s work.

Maya Tavares is a fiber artist with a BFA in textile design from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with over 10 years weaving experience. The Joint Venture portfolio, brainchild of Portsmouth printmaker Carol FitzSimonds, was to partner 22 art club artists with 9 Virginia ‘Torpedo Factory Printmakers’ in complete collaboration with each individual artist contributing ideas, expertise, time, materials and art. This is the result of their 3rd group portfolio.

Ann Rozhon, a professional artist for over 25 years and graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, has work in private and corporate collections in the U.S. and Canada. Jessica Wheeler worked as been an illustrator for years and now works in a more spontaneous, larger format using watercolor while experimenting with pouring techniques.
