Waterfront Historic District, was built in 1842 and has been the center of civic, social, military and cultural activities and events now for over 175 years. Restoration of Armory hall has been ongoing now for ten years uncovering many historic surprises including unique 19th-century wall paintings of Indians and Warren Artillery Company soldiers.
The mission is to revitalize and restore the 1842 Warren Artillery Company Armory to its original historic architectural design. They intend to maintain and strengthen its financial reserve so that it may become a veteran’s showcase and vibrant community center accessible to the Town of Warren and larger community for related military, civic and social activities and events.
