The Baptist Church Presents Mt. Hope High School “Collage” Concert Oct 26th

Warren, RI;  The Mt. Hope High School Vocal Ensemble, the high school’s auditioned choir, is a group of 25 singers made up of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses in grades 9-12. Throughout the school year, the Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Vicki Boyle performs throughout the Bristol and Warren communities as well as many events at Mt. Hope High School. The Vocal Ensemble has won numerous awards at festivals throughout Rhode Island, as well as in New York, Washington DC, Orlando FL, and Williamsburg VA.

The Mt. Hope High School Guitar Ensemble is a classical guitar group made up of 23 guitarists from grades 10-12. Most of the students in the Guitar Ensemble are 3rd or 4th year guitar students at the high school. They have performed in numerous events throughout the Bristol and Warren Communities and have traveled with the Mt. Hope Marching Band and Choruses to festivals in Florida, Washington and New York. The Guitar Ensemble also participates each year in “The Night of the Living Guitars,” a multi-school guitar festival hosted by the Wheeler School in Providence.

Also performing (not shown in the above photos) are the Mt. Hope High School Chorus and the Mt. Hope High School Jazz Combo. The Mt. Hope High School Chorus is made up of mostly freshmen and sophomore sopranos, altos and baritones. The Mt. Hope HS Chorus performs at several community and school event throughout the school year. The Mt. Hope High School Jazz Combo is a student led jazz group, under the supervision of Robert Arsenault.
