Audrey Robin Tyrka (ART) paints large-scale abstract oils, engaging vibrant color and form to allow themes from nature and life to emerge and mature.
 Turning to art photography in recent years, ART has opened her mind and focused her eye to capture overlapping layers of experience and connection. Her art photos often involve  reflections and shadows that reveal insights about life and nature, offering a glimpse into additional dimensions, a way of seeing that opens up the possibility of multiple realities.

A physician-scientist and psychiatrist, ART is dedicated to understanding and preventing the health consequences of childhood trauma. She has partnered with Sojourner House, a Providence-based domestic and sexual violence agency, and donates all proceeds from her art sales to this critically important organization.
